Silverblaze Announces Successful Implementation of ACE Platform at Idaho Power Company

March 17, 2022, Niagara Falls, NY – For Immediate Distribution – Silverblaze ACE, a subsidiary of Harris Computer Systems, is pleased to announce that its client, Idaho Power, recently integrated Silverblaze ACE with its My Account page and began offering it to customers on January 24, 2022. It is a customer self-service data presentment platform built to educate and mobilize utility customers to change their behaviors towards energy efficiency and the use of renewables.

Regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the state regulatory commissions of Idaho and Oregon, Idaho Power serves over 590,000 customers and is engaged in power generation, transmission, delivery, sale, and purchase of electricity.

With approximately 250,000 monthly logins to the New My Account Website, features of Silverblaze ACE that the utility implemented include:

• Energy Usage presentment including irrigation and net metering

• CSV and Green Button Download of consumption data

• Ability to link multiple premises to an account within the application

• Bill to Date

• Bill Comparison

• Bill Insights

• Rate Comparison

• Ways to Save, including ability to create a savings plan

The implementation was successful. ACE delivered all project requirements including those that were in the original scope and new enhancements requested by Idaho Power after the project started. Today, the Silverblaze ACE portal is integrated within IPC’s remote header and footer and is giving users a seamless experience when navigating from the IPC website to the portal.

In the first month since Idaho Power Company went live with ACE, they saw a 49% increase in logins to the ACE portal compared to their legacy self-service application. According to Ryan Donnelly, Digital Customer Care Manager for Idaho Power.
